How to Get Ready for an Intense Workout

High-intensity workouts are pretty much necessary for losing body fat in a fast and healthy way. You can get the most out of your intense exercise sessions by getting yourself ready in the following way:

1. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep the night before.

2. Drink at least 16 ounces of water (about 2 large glasses) as soon as you wake up in the morning.

3. Workout first thing in the morning, before eating, if possible. This may force your body to burn more fat for energy.

4. Drink 2-3 cups of green tea and/or yerba mate 30 minutes before working out.

5. Consider taking a quality energy/fat-burner supplement about 30-60 minutes before exercising. It should contain vitamin b-12, green tea or yerba mate extract, cocoa extract, and natural caffeine from kola nut and guarana.

6. If you workout later in the day, be sure to eat a few high-quality, protein-rich meals and snacks during the day. For best fat loss results avoid starchy carbs and eat your last meal or snack at least 1 hour before your workout.

7. Before and during the workout use the power of mental visualization and focus to get the most benefit possible from the intense exercise.

Most of all... have fun!
